Trilba J. Franklin, age 82, of Lindley, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at home. She was born on February 7, 1936 in Tuscarora, the daughter of John and Ruea (Button) Jones. She married Brady Franklin on November 2, 1972 in Aberdeen, Maryland. He predeceased her on May 16, 1997.
Trilba graduated from Addison High School, she was a housewife for many years, also the co-owner of Frank’s Transmission Shop, and a member of Tuscarora Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales with her friend Bonnie, loved her animals, delivered The Leader with her husband, and she rode motorcycles.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and a great great great niece. Trilba was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine and Gladys and her brothers, Ivan, Malcolm, Thurman, Johnny, and Rexford.
Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at Addison Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
