Pamela Florence Erickson, 72, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 19, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.
Pam, lovingly known as Mrs. Erickson, served as a secretary in the school district for 23 years. Her compassion toward each child was evident in the way she treated them. Beloved by the staff and students, her mark on the community runs deep and wide. Pam had an open door policy, and everyone knew they were welcome. Her generosity lavished without restraint. Devout fan of the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills, Pam often showed her contagious ability to remain optimistic. She could often times be found out in the sun surrounded by the ones who affectionately call her Nana. She was always cheering for the underdog; a fierce protector of all. Pam found the most joy in her love for Jesus and her family. Her greatest goal in life was to be the best Mom/Nana she could, and she succeeded. Pam was a fighter, knocking down huge obstacles as she graciously walked out her faith in the life she lived. Passing on her deep-rooted faith, she leaves a legacy that will never die.
Pamela was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Erickson; parents, Mildred and Kenneth Thomas Sr.; sisters, Eloise Brew, Betty Borden, and Shirley Sowersby.
