Margaret “Peggy” Louise DelGrosso, age 86, of Addison, NY passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers. Peggy was born May 23, 1930 in Germania, PA to Glenn and Harriet (Zeaman) Funk. She married Floyd Anthony DelGrosso, March 29, 1948 in Galeton, PA.
Peggy raised her children and then later pursued her career as a Laboratory Technician, earning an Associate’s Degree from Corning Community College. She spent 30 years with Corning Hospital. She was also a lifelong communicant of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Addison.
She was a NY Yankees baseball fanatic, enjoyed watching vintage movies, westerns, and reading a good book. Earlier in life Peggy was also known as a pretty good bowler.
She is survived by her husband: Floyd Anthony DelGrosso; four children: Anthony (Aggie) DelGrosso of Painted Post, Michael ( Betty) DelGrosso of Painted Post, Daniel( Janet) DelGrosso of Montour Falls, David DelGrosso of Addison; daughter in law: Priscilla DelGrosso of Saratoga Springs; three siblings: Edward (Marta) Funk, William (Jean) Funk, Patricia (Art) Thorne; 10 grandchildren: Megan, Evan, Cassie, Adam, Josiah, Samara, Gianna, Giovanni, Joshua, and Ryan; and several great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by a son, Glenn R. “Butch” DelGrosso in February of 2010; and a brother, Glenn ”Buddy” Funk.

A private service will be held at Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home in Addison, NY with Fr. Pat Connor officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
