Biography
Alice Mae Cahill, age 91, of Corning, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Absolut Care at Three Rivers. She was born on June 22, 1920 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Cornell) Crane.
Alice retired from Corning Inc in 1981 following 42 years of service and she enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Underwood of Virginia, son, David Cahill of Corning, grandchildren, Terry, Jeff, and Kelly Underwood, and Kathy Cahill, great grandchildren, Brandon, Dominique, Celine, and Kyra, and a great great granddaughter, Kaylin. Alice was predeceased by her beloved life long partner, Nathan S. Cole, and her siblings, Dick Crane, Bill Crane, Alywn Crane, Margaret King, Vera Crane, and Ada Stevens.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
